Position Title: Plumber

Required Skills:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 2-4 years' of proven plumber experience in plumbing jobs.
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices.
  • Familiar with PVC, CPV, PEX, black pipe, and copper.
  • Must be safety conscious with good housekeeping skills.
  • Must possess following skill sets:
    • Mechanical Aptitude
    • Read and understand engineering drawings
    • Read tape measure
    • Use air and electric hand tools
  • Ability to solve simple issues and learn the job quickly.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision.
  • Must effectively communicate and present interpretations of work.
  • Maintain a positive attitude towards team members and other departments.
  • Displays initiative to learn and to take on more responsibilities.
  • Ability to work successfully within a team and as an individual contributor.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.

Preferred Skills:

  • 2+ years' plumber experience in a manufacturing or construction environment.
  • Plumbing Certification or Plumber License.
  • Experience with soda fountain heads and commercial ice makers.

Physical Requirements:

  • Physically able to stand up 8+ hours per day.
  • Physically able to move and transport up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to ascend/descend on a ladder, climb in/out of trailers and work atop scaffolding.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, sit, stoop, squat, kneel, climb, balance, and reach overhead.
  • Ability to bend, grip and move fingers/hands.
  • Ability to work in various environments and weather conditions.
